Current Evidence in Early Orthodontic Interceptive Treatment in Non-skeletal Problems
AbstractOral habits and early local malocclusion have the potential to exacerbate over time, leading to more complex clinical challenges. Early orthodontic intervention is pivotal in intercepting these issues in early stage, thereby optimizing therapeutic outcomes for patients. In dental practice, the timely identification of interceptive cases and the implementation of appropriate interventions can significantly mitigate or even rectify developing malocclusions and functional abnormalities. This presentation will provide an overview of the current evidence supporting early orthodontic interceptive treatment for common dental problems during tooth development.
